We are looking for an extraordinary Chief Operating Officer who will oversee Casinetto’s operations, strategic development, operational and financial performance.
A progressive thinker with a deep understanding of operations in the e-commerce and foodservice industry coupled with a successful track record in building high-performance teams that drive transformation and deliver exceptional results, you will oversee Casinetto’s strategic and operational direction and activities.
You will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to manage and direct all aspects of the e-commerce and HORECA segments. This includes strategizing, planning, developing, and executing plans, overseeing the warehouse, logistics, supply, and production while monitoring performance analytics and product innovation, among other things.
Core Responsibilities:
- Build and execute a roadmap to improve service level standards across each touchpoint
- Lead the warehouse, logistics, customer service, sourcing, and content teams
- Manage and monitor operations with a particular focus on warehouse and the connected KPIs
- Build and execute a process optimization roadmap and work with operational teams to improve the functioning of each process and team
- Develop knowledge in food regulations (from sourcing to warehousing and logistics) and in ecologic matters (reduction of environmental impact)
Core Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations and Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering Management, Management Engineering, or similar. MBA desirable
- 10+ years of experience handling operations and warehousing (in the food industry, distribution companies, logistics operators, food e-commerce)
- An agile and tech-savvy leader with a deep 360 understanding of all facets of the warehouse, logistics, and supply chain
- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheets, ERP systems, and WMS
- A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics. Ability to build and summarize operational KPI’s and strategic plans, and align each moving part
- Exceptional communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships and to influence strategic development through the presentation of a clear and well-supported vision
- Strong result-focused personality, persistence in developing autonomously ideas, and ability to gets teams to accomplish together
- Process optimization through quick hacks, and laying down the right infrastructure.
