Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements, and calculating tax payments and returns.
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare a tax return
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Prepare tax documents
- Compile and analyze financial statements
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
