Job Duties and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic person with a passion for technology and entrepreneurship to join the Anamcara team.
Anam Cara is an early-stage B2B focussed venture fund investing in technologies that enable SMBs. We invest in Europe and MENA.
The role – Operations Manager
- Investment process / pipeline mgmt. / portfolio mgmt.
- Support the designing of our internal investment and portfolio mgmt. processes.
- Using software to manage projects, keep track of pipeline, and full data and relationship mgmt.
- Develop reports on portfolio and industry trends.
- LP/investor mgmt.
- Support on quarterly Investor reporting.
- Support on annual investor event.
- Support on responding to investor requests.
- Operations and finance.
- Calculate full set accounts, partnership allocations to LPs.
· Preparing capital calls and distribution for the funds
· Respond to investor queries, prepare monthly and quarterly investor reports.
· Liaise with third-party agencies in matters related to tax, fund administration, etc.
· Lead fund and company audit and prepare financial audit reports.
· Calculate management fees, operational expenses, and plan for funds needed in investment.
Requirements
- Finance/accounting graduate with at least 4 years of experience working in either an accounting firm auditing PE/ VC funds or working in a similar position.
- Has the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the willingness to learn new things.
- Passionate about helping founders build technology leaders.
- Excited about building a fund from the ground up.
- Participate in Fund carry as compensation.
- Based in Abu Dhabi.
