Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • The candidate must be fluent in English.
  • Immediately available to join the job.
  • Interview, train, and supervise all of the café’s employees, which may include: waitresses, cooks, hostesses, valets, dishwashers, baristas, etc.
  • Create weekly schedules/shifts, finding replacements, and filling in for staff when there is a need.
  • To assign job objectives that employees must follow, and evaluate the staff’s performance against the objectives in employee reviews.
  • Train employees on cake/drinks preparation and proper use of coffee & cake equipment.
  • Accountable for the café’s books, making sure that all of the expenses are within the pre-established budget, and sales meet daily and monthly goals.
  • Ensure all cash, cheque, and credit card transactions are completed according to company directives.
  • Reconciles the daily funds coming in from sales, makes bank deposits, and handles payroll.
  • Calculate which food or drink items bring in more revenue, and modify the menu to increase profitability.
  • Maintain updated records of daily, weekly, and monthly revenues and expenses.
  • The candidate must have good excel skills to join our team.
